Elizabeth Lorene Schalchlin was stolen from us December 19, 2007 in her home in Benton City, Washington. She was born April 14, 1994. Elizabeth was a beautiful, bright, charming teen-ager who enjoyed talking with friends, had a passion for baton, and had been selected for the national baton competition. She loved baton she had recently moved up to three batons, and had earned many medals. She had also worked extensively with flag and rifle. She was always able to see the brighter side of things and she loved to laugh. Elizabeth's life ended all too soon and the world is a much darker place with her passing. Elizabeth is survived by her father, Anthony Schalchlin TX, her brothers, Steven and Donald Schalchlin, her grandmother Linda Estes TX, grandfather Otis Estes and wife Nancy TX, great-grandmother Mrs. Frank Grabowski TX, two aunts, and two cousins. Services for Elizabeth will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM at KiBe Middle School, 1107 Grace Avenue, Benton City, WA 99320. Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Center, 9353 West Clearwater Ave. Kennewick, 4-7 pm Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Memorial contributions can be made in her name at any branch of the Sterling Savings Bank.
