Harry Everett Staley passed away Monday, July 3, 2006 at the age of 85. He was born in Mexico, Indiana on August 10, 1920 to Earl and Sarah Staley. He has lived in Pasco since 1955. He was a retired truck driver. Through his life he had many jobs including a tavern owner in Palouse, Washington, working in a funeral home in Sunnyside, Washington, Consolidated Freight where he meet and fell in love with is wife who was the secretary for the company and for the Washington State Transportation Department. He never met a person that he didn?t like. He would go to the old Payless Drug Caf� and tell stories and visit with all his old friends and after they closed he went to Little Partners and as of lat he enjoyed his time at Andy?s Coffee Break where he enjoyed watching and talking to the people, owner and staff. He was in the US Army in WWII and was very proud of his time in the military. He was at Pearl Harbor and his flight left hours before the it was bombed and served some of his tour in England. He was and avid camper. His wife Neva preceded him in death, how he loved very much and by his parents Earl and Sarah Staley. He is survived by his very dear friends, Terry and Roxanne Kloehn and their family and long time friends Archie and Anneliese Pittman, Richard and Carol Elledge and Sue Supplee and by his many friends that he made through out the years. There will be a viewing Thursday, July 6, 2006 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm at Hillcrest/Bruce Lee Memorial Center, 2804 West Lewis, Pasco, WA.
