Richard Samuel Chudej, of Kennewick, WA, went to Heaven peacefully on October 5, 2019 at the Hospice House with his Partner, Rob Martin of Kennewick, WA by his side. Richard was born in Apple Valley, CA on Feb. 25, 1965. Richard was adopted by Jerry and Gwen Chudej. Richard graduated from Alaska High School in 1985, and went to Trade School in Anchorage, Alaska. He worked as a prep cook/cook at a local food restaurant for five years until he moved to Washington State in 2000. Mr Chudej enjoyed spending time with his partner, traveling, reading, playing video games, and working on the computer. Richard made a lot of friends where ever he went and was well liked by every one who met him. Mr. Chudej loved meeting people, loved telling jokes and had a wicked sense of humor. He also loved Star Trek! Mr Chudej and Mr Martin were Washington state Registered Domestic couple. Mr. Chudej is survived by his partner, Rob Martin, of the home. He was preceded in Death by his Mother Gwen, who went home to heaven on November 7, 2017. He is survived by his Father, Gerald Chudej of MCCammon, Idaho, two sister, two step brothers, and an assortment of friends in Kennewick who knew him. Private graveside services will be held on October 18, 2019 at one pm with family and friends only in Inkum, Idaho. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
