Obituary

Born Robert Lloyd Scott, to Roy and Odetta Scott in 1929 somewhere north of the border near MacLeod, Alberta, his family lived there until they moved to Oregon when Bob was 3 years old. Bob graduated from Eugene High School in 1947. He joined the Air Force and served with the 403rd Supply Squadron in Korea until his honorable discharge in November 1952. Bob was a very talented and gifted man whose journey touched many people and crossed many occupational borders as he built and raced cars, worked as a logger, a carpenter, and as the Service Manager for the Dilday-Mock car dealership in Porterville, California. Bob was predeceased by his brother Floyd. He is survived by his wife, Mary and his sister Margaret Van Cleave. He also leaves behind his children, Randy, Rick (Linda) Scott, and Shelley (Bruce Burrough) as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A gracious thank you goes to the Tri Cities Retirement Inn and Hospice at the Chaplaincy who took care of Bob until the end with care and compassion.
