Tarik Jones, Sr., 31, of Moses Lake died on May 10, 2008. Tarik was born May 30, 1976 in Hartford, Connecticut to parents Dennis Alanzo and Carrie Elizabeth Jones. On November 17, 2007 he married Valinda G. Otis. He has lived in Moses Lake for two years. He was a coach and referee for the Park and Recreation in Moses Lake. Tarik's interests were song writing, making music, performing, coaching and family activities. Tarik is survived by his father, Dennis Alonzo Jones; mother, Carrie Elizabeth Jones; wife, Valinda G. Jones; his brother, Taheem Jones and sister, Talima Jones. He has four biological children; two boys, Tarik Jones, Jr., and Tyrus Jones; two daughters from a previous relationship, Tarriana Jones and Taria Jones. He also had four step children who were loved by him dearly; Keith Tre' Joseph, Precious Otis, Alizea Otis, Malik Bargeman and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made for the wife and children.
