Viola Mae Harris Wheatley Viola Mae Wheatley, 81, of Richland died on August 7, 2011. She was born in Havana, KS on March 18, 1930 to Furman and Stella Wennihan. Viola Married Wayne Harris on September 7, 1949 and they later divorced. She married Joe Wheatley on March 18, 1983 and they were married until his death in 1999. She was employed at JC Penney, Crest Hallmark, UNC, and retired from Westinghouse Hanford in 1992 as a Records Specialist. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Lorene in 1956. She is survived by her sons, Ron Delphene Harris, Mike Joyce Harris, Martin Rhonda Harris, Jeff Pam Wheatley; daughters, Radell Al Castillo, Rita Chad Bedingfield, Marsha Roger Fish. Viola cherished the time she spent with her 19 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Carter, Belle Wiley, Gertrude Boulanger and numerous nieces and nephews. Viola enjoyed knitting for the Mission, watching basketball, the Mariners including her trips to Spring Training. She enjoyed supporting and attending the numerous activities that her grandchildren were involved in. Memorial Services will be Saturday August 13th, 2:00 at the Hillcrest Memorial Center, 9353 W.
