Obituary

"It's been a good ride" in his own words. Alan Ray Adams went to heaven on August 28, 2024. He was born July 17,1951 in Roseburg, Oregon to Cleo Bunnell Sweat and Ray Ernest Sweat. He lived in Pasco, Washington.

Growing up, Alan worked on ranches. He trained horses, roped and worked cattle. He won many buckles in roping. Alan built fences that will stand the test of time. He graduated from Pasco High School, Class of 1969. He was fun and loved his family much. He was a great man.

Alan married Stepheni Irean Schmidli "Samm" in August 1971 and they raised cattle along the Snake River while he worked and retired from Boise Cascade Paper Mill as a Pipefitter and Union Wage Delegate. He moved out to North

Franklin County on 5 acres with a beautiful view of the Tri-Cities in 2004. He lived next door to his good friends Steve/Billie McSwan.

Alan is survived by his three sisters, Cheryl, Myralee and Lynne Adams and his three brothers, Keith, Kriss, and Kent Sweat and Samm Adams. Preceding Alan were his mom, fathers, brother Skip and sister Caryn, in heaven.

We appreciate Hospice House and Hillcrest Funeral Home and Kriss. No service at this time.
