Andrew Michael Nicholls

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Michael Nicholls, who passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 21.

Andrew was born on March 8, 2005, at Kadlec Hospital in Richland, Washington, to his loving parents, Ryan and Katie Nicholls. He spent his entire life in Kennewick, Washington, where he grew into a kind, thoughtful, and compassionate young man whose quiet presence and caring heart touched everyone who knew him.

Andrew most recently worked as a Patient Sitter at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, where he found purpose in caring for others during difficult moments. His compassionate spirit and gentle nature made him well suited to serving patients and their families.

A devoted member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Andrew's faith was an important part of his life. He found joy in learning, creating, and spending time with the people he loved. He had a passion for building with LEGO® bricks, assembling model airplanes, and studying historical aviation. He enjoyed video games, exploring history, snorkeling, and traveling with his family, creating treasured memories that will be cherished forever.

Above all, Andrew loved his family. Whether at home, on vacation, or simply sharing everyday moments together, he valued the time spent with those closest to him. His gentle smile, kind heart, curious mind, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Andrew is survived by his loving parents, Ryan and Katie Nicholls; his brother, Owen Nicholls; his grandparents, Lee and Kathy Wetherell, Meredith Nicholls, and Leonard Nicholls; as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Einan's at Hillcrest, Kennewick, Washington.

Though Andrew's time with us was far too short, his life was one of kindness, compassion, and quiet strength. His memory will continue to live on in the lives he touched, the love he shared, and the countless memories his family and friends will treasure forever.
