Austin Ryan
Murdock
Dec 25, 2004 — Dec 10, 2024
Austin's life, though much too short, was filled with passion, joy, and a spirit that touched everyone around him. He was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 2004, and he passed away on December 10, 2024, just shy of his 20th birthday. Though the years may seem fleeting, Austin's impact on this world is immeasurable.
Austin had a love for the outdoors that ran deep. He thrived in nature—whether hunting, fishing, or exploring the mountains, he found peace and purpose in the beauty of the world around him, breathing in the fresh air and embracing the freedom that came with each new adventure. It was here, in the quiet of the wilderness, that Austin felt most alive.
But Austin was more than just someone who loved the outdoors. He had an undeniable fascination with cars, motorcycles, and technology. His curiosity about how things worked and his eagerness to learn were traits that defined him. Whether he was tinkering with the engine of a car or staying up late to figure out the latest gadget, Austin's mind was always in motion. He had a natural gift for problem-solving, and his hands seemed to know exactly what to do when it came to working with machinery or electronics.
More than his interests and hobbies, what truly stood out about Austin was his heart. Austin was a person who could light up any room with his warmth and kindness. He had an infectious smile, and his laughter was a sound that will be forever cherished in the memories of all who knew him. He had a special ability to make those around him feel seen, heard, and valued. His kindness was not just an attribute, but a gift that he gave freely to everyone he met. He had a heart that was as big as his spirit, and that heart loved fiercely—especially the people who were closest to him.
Austin is survived by his loving parents, Matthew and Wendy Murdock, his brothers Aiden and Ashtyn, and his sister Serenity. He was deeply loved by his grandparents, extended family, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever carry his memory with them. While we mourn the loss of Austin, we also remember the joy he brought into our lives, and we are grateful for the time we had with him.
He was a son, a brother, a friend, and a treasure. He was a gift to this world, and we are all better for having known him.
As we say our final goodbyes, let us not focus on the sorrow of his passing, but on the joy he brought into our lives. Let us celebrate Austin for who he was—an extraordinary young man who lived with passion, who loved without reservation, and who made this world a better place simply by being in it.
Rest in peace, Austin. You will always be loved, and you will never be forgotten.
