Barbara Ann Garner Leija, age 63, died in Grandview, WA on May 18, 2008. Barbara was born on June 8, 1944 in Spencerville, OK to parents Travis J and Fleta F. Sheets Garner. In March of 1973 she married Catarino Leija. She has lived in the Tri-Cities for 55 years. Before retirement, Barbara worked as a caregiver. She has belonged to the Church of Christ for 12 years. She enjoyed baseball, and going to the ocean. Barbara is survived by sisters, Leona McCracken, Novella Grant and her husband, Wilma Bustillos and her husband, Gus; brother, Howard Garner and his wife, Ronnie; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
