Barbara Joan Heiman, 88, Basin City, WA, passed away on January 15, 2024 in Richland, WA. Barbara was born June 17, 1935 in Axtell, KS to Leo and Estella Broxterman.

Barb married Kenneth L. Heiman on January 25, 1956 in St. Bridget, KS.

Ken and Barb left Kansas and moved to Basin City in 1968. With raising 5 kids and being a farm wife, there was never a dull moment.

She was an active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Altar Society. Mom was an avid bowler for many years, loved a good card game, and was known to shoot a mean game of pool. She also enjoyed supporting her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids in all of their endeavors.

Barb is survived by her children - Steve (Cathie), Mike (Terri), Karen (Steve) Mathis, Terry (Jamie), and Michele; grandchildren Chris, Brittany, Levi, Morgan, Carl, Luke, Ashlee, Jessica, Bailee, Tanner, Tyler, and Conner, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, her parents, daughter Margaret, granddaughter Mary, and 7 siblings.

A public viewing will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Hillcrest Funerals, 9353 W Clearwater Ave., Kennewick, WA. Rosary will follow at 6 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Friday, January 26, 2024 at St. Pauls Catholic Church, 14181 Glade North Rd, Eltopia, WA.

Burial will be at City View Cemetery, 1300 N Oregon Ave, Pasco, WA. following Mass
