Barbara Joy Hobbs, January 30, 1934 – March 15, 2023 Kennewick, WA.

After a full day of family visits, Barbara (Bobbie) passed away at home in solitude holding hands with her husband of 67 years.

Born an only child to Helen and Cliff Brown in Spokane January 30, 1934, she graduated from Rogers High School and worked for General Telephone until she married Duane Hobbs in 1955 when they moved to the Tri-Cities. Bobbie was a fun and classy lady with the gift of hospitality. Devoted to her family, friends and community, Bobbie left her joyful imprint on everyone. She enjoyed reading, hosting parties, bridge, traveling, boating, and pouring herself into her grandchildren. A twin club organizer, business owner (The Bazaar), Kennewick Planning Commissioner, Real Estate Agent, Religious Education Director, and parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bobbie's tiny stature belied her ability to make a big, positive impact.

She is survived by her husband, Duane and four children: Lindy (Willy) Styer, Cindy (John) Omlin, Scott Hobbs and Andy (Channa) Hobbs; nine grandchildren: Eric Omlin, Kelsey O'Loughlin, Scott Styer, Kenny Hobbs, Nathan Hobbs, Alec Hobbs, Caleb Hobbs, Ceci Hobbs, Addi Hobbs; and 4 great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, April 24at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 520 S. Garfield, Kennewick, with a rosary at 1:30 and Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30. A reception will follow at the church.
