Barbara J. Priest passed away at Chaplaincy Hospice Care surrounded by her family on March 14, 2017 from a sudden stroke. She was born May 10, 1928 in Clay, Louisiana to the parents of Annie & Diaz Ziegler. Barb was a loving home maker who lived to play bingo, spend time with family and friends, cook, fish, and garden. Barb is survived by her sister Francis Rowland, sister Marjorie Schollenberger (husband Marvin), sister-in-law Patsy Ziegler, and her daughters Gail Ann Dickinson, Sharon Becker, Roxie Jensen (husband Don), Rhonda Peters (husband Mike), and Kimberly Farias (husband Luis). Barb is also survived by her grandchildren, Johnny Becker, Julianne Jackson, Steven Jackson, Kevin DeHart (wife Caprice), Brooke Jensen, Melissa Berg (husband Brandon), Heather Peters, Amanda Peters (wife Cheyanne), Jamie Gibson, Crystal Gibson, Cody Gibson, Kaylee Farias, Adrianna Farias, and Jacob Farias. Barb had numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents Annie & Diaz Ziegler, brothers Bill Ziegler and Sunny Ziegler, sister Dub Terral (husband Simonton), brother in law Bob Rowland, and daughter Carolanne Aitkens. Service will be semi casual and held Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Redeemer (International Christian Fellowship Tri Cities 4100 Road 100, Pasco, WA 99301. Immediately following we will have a pot luck (please bring a dish) at Three Rivers Village at 651 McMurray St., Richland, WA 99354 Family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in honor of Barb to Gesa Credit Union to help loved ones with funeral expenses and Chaplaincy Hospice Care.
