Bennie Jo Hodges passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the age of 92. He was born in 1932. He was married to Elnora for 71 years. Bennie was the second of nine children born to his parents. He came to the Tri-Cities in 1945, bringing two of his younger brothers by bus to join the rest of the family.

He worked in construction and then became a heavy equipment operator, eventually landing a job at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, where he later retired.

Bennie and Elnora have three daughters, Helen Pierce, Susan Bailey, and Sandra Faulds. They have 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at Einan's Hillcrest, located at 9353 W Clearwater Ave., Kennewick, on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

His graveside service will take place at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 South Union Street, Kennewick, on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at the mausoleum. Family and friends are invited to join for a light lunch at their home following the service.
