Beth Elaine Rainey age 82 of Richland, WA died on Friday, March 3, 2017 due to complications of stroke. She was born on December 31, 1934 in Denver, CO to Bert Verellen and Lucille Fisher Verellen. Beth's family came to Richland in 1944 for the Manhattan Project. She finished her education and went to work for G.E. then Douglas United Nuclear and finally retired from Westinghouse in 1996. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Lucille Verellen, siblings; Jerry Verellen and Patsy Thibodeau. She is survived by: Siblings; Annette Parnell, Tom, Bob and Jim Verellen. Her children; Theresa Slack, Tim (Lisa) Rainey, Greg Rainey, Alan (Kristi) Rainey. Grandchildren; Brett (Shawna) Slack, Amber (Charles) Moniz, Deanna (Josh) Stancil, Tara (Shay) Stearns, Marc (Jen) Rainey, Jacob (Amanda) Rainey, Guy (Mandy) Rainey, Adam Rainey, Sami Rainey. Great Grandchildren; Dominique Slack, Jessica (Michael) Moser, Jason Slack, Nicole Bailey (Terryn Turner) Sarah Moniz, Charles Moniz, Matthew (Taylor) Keister, Lexi Stancil (Sisto Pina), Jared Stacil, Michael Stearns, Ethan Stearns, Faith Rainey, Caitlin Rainey, Jaxon Rainey, Luke Rainey, Christian, Dominic, Bailey Rainey Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 10 am at Christ The King Church, Richland, WA
