Betty Jane Cameron, 79, died on September 11, 2013 in Kennewick, WA. She was born on March 4, 1934 to parents Clarence L and Amy A. (Ruddick) Roney in Missouri. She married Clayton R. Cameron on December 25, 1956. Betty loved fishing, camping, visiting with family, bowling, and playing pinochle. She loved to decorate hats and was known as the "hat lady". Betty is survived by her husband Clayton; daughter Sue May; two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren; brother Robert Roney and sister Mary Branch. She was preceded in death by her son Gerald Staggs, her parents, four brothers and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Center, 9353 W.
