She was born Bonnie Kathleen Tussey, in Torrance, California on May 9, 1954, to Edgar & Donna Tussey. She has a sister, Katherine, and two brothers David & Bill. She and her sister were raised by their grandparents, Sam & Dolly Tussey. Growing up in Southern California she loved the beach, learned to hula, and learned to love all people no matter their ethnicity. She won many awards in school and church for different things and was an eloquent speaker. Her first car was a blue 65 Mustang, and she loved the Beach Boys and the Beatles.
After taking French in high school she chose to join the US Army as a Translator, Interpreter, and Voice Intercept Operator, where she learned to speak German. While stationed in Washington D.C. she met the love of her life, George Dillabough, whom she married on St Patrick's Day in 1973. They were sealed in the Bern Switzerland Temple on May 20, 1978, with three of their would-be six children, while pregnant with their fourth. Bonnie taught her children to sing a capella in four-part harmony and called them The Sunshine Connection. Her legacy is her six children, their spouses, 18 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren...so far. Her book series, The Dimensional Alliance, will keep her alive in the hearts and minds of all who read her works. Bonnie & George celebrated 52 years of marriage on March 17, 2025.
Bonnie had a variety of jobs including US Soldier, insurance sales, clowning, Tupperware sales (also Avon, Spirulina, and any other multi-level marketing you can think of), windshield repair, small business owner (Can-Do Thrift Shop), Sales Paper copy editor, Washington State Employee, music school owner and instructor (Kid's Chorus Club), local access television producer and talent (TCTV), website creator, marketing guru, and last but not least Author of The Dimensional Alliance Series of books.
Her hobbies included: basketball, crocheting, sewing, a capella music, reading, square dancing, singing (church choirs & Sweet Adelines), and gaming.
She is survived by: her husband of 52 years, George C. Dillabough, children and spouses; Sam & Evare Dillabough, Aaron & Jenn Dillabough, Dee & Tim Michael, Katherine Wild, Edivia & Paul Gabrielson, and Dennis & Lynette Dillabough. Grandchildren; Tymara, Suneeta, LuCinda, Jacob, Bonnie, Caleb, Tyler, Marie, Ammon, Celeste, Wyatt, Emily, Ammon, Cyrus, Geore, Jared, and George-Remi. Great Grandchildren; Ezra, Haven, Arabella, Lavender, Jasiah, and Winston. And too many to name adopted children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by; Grandparents; Florence & Geoffrey, Sam & Dolly, Parents; Edgar & Donna, Brother; David, and Grandson, Matthew.
