Carla Jean Phillips, age 71, peacefully passed away on July 18, 2024, in Kennewick, Washington. She was born on August 28, 1952, in Rapid City, South Dakota, to John and Lorraine Cole. On September 17, 1994, Carla married Mike Phillips, and together they made their home in the Tri-Cities for over 30 years.

Carla was known for her loving, compassionate, and caring nature. She found joy in crocheting, shared her talent for hair cutting with those she loved, and treasured every moment spent with her family. Over the years, Carla dedicated herself to her work at Buttrey's in the Bakery, the Post Office, and Ranch and Home.

Carla's memory will be cherished by her husband, Mike; her mother, Lorraine; her brother, Duane Cole; her sons, Dana (Heather) Cullen and Bryan (Tara) Cullen; her stepchildren, Bill (Lindsey) Phillips, Kemy Phillips, and Nathan (Carmen) Phillips; and her 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, John, as well as several aunts and uncles.

A Memorial Service and Reception will be held on August 31, 2024, from 2-5 p.m. at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation, 9353 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick, WA.
