Carlos Miguel Ruiz passed away in Hood River OR, on December 16, 2022. Carlos "Los" was born on January 18, 1996, in Kennewick, WA to Gena Avila. Growing up Carlos attended several schools but graduated from Ridgeway High School in Santa Rosa, CA. shortly after at the age of 18, he met his longtime girlfriend Kat who is the mother to his three children, Adrien (6), Olivia (2), and Madelyn (6mo.). Carlos was a hard worker and loved his family dearly, not only his girlfriend and his kids, but he also had a tremendous love for all his siblings. He was an active football player growing up. But his passion was music, writing, playing and listening to it, he was an old soul at heart. He was an extremely talented guitarist who also had a passion for doing concrete and one day hoped to open his own business. He also enjoyed cooking and sharing pictures and videos with his family of the work he was proud of whether it was concrete or food. He worked very hard to stay on the right path and make his family proud, he did everything and anything to put a smile on their face. Carlos truly was a light in people's lives. Carlos is survived by his mother Gena, his girlfriend Kathryn, his three children Adrien, Olivia, and Madelyn, his sister Angel, his brothers Kyle and Erik, his step sisters Alessandra, Jasmier and Isabela, his nani Valerie and uncles Michael, Jason and Ron. He is preceded in death by his brother Jaime, his grandfather Ronald and his Tio David.
