Carma Lillian Pekkala, age 15, passed away on October 6, 2023, in Kennewick, Washington. She was born on May 19, 2008, in Vancouver, Washington, to her parents, Troy and Melinda (Tapani) Pekkala.

Carma loved being with friends, being active, singing and drawing. She was such a help at home and with her siblings. She was a ray of sunshine and precious Christian example.

Carma is survived by her parents; sisters, Adelyn, Halle, Maria, and Nova, brother Nelson; grandparents, Wayne and Cynthia Pekkala and James and Lillian Tapani, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her cousin Quinn Pekkala.

A Viewing will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 791 Country Haven Loop, Pasco, Washington, followed by Funeral Services on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
