Carolyn Rae Olday, 76, of Kennewick, WA passed away on February 3, 2017 at her home in Kennewick, WA. Carolyn was born on July 16, 1940 in Nampa, ID to Godfrey Nuel Young and Lillian Mae Lee. She was married to Allen T. Olday for 46 years before his passing. Before retiring she worked for Motel 6 in maintenance and lived in the Tri Cities for 39 years. Carolyn enjoyed knitting Afghan and donating to care centers along with ceramics and crafts of any kind. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Cook and Walt (Salt Lake, UT), son Bobby Garland (Yakima), siblings Larry Young (Live Oaks, CA), Connie and Roy Wiltse (Medford, OR), Donald Young (Pasco, WA), grandchildren William (Ashley) Cook (Wisconsin), Bryce Cook (Salt Lake, UT) Miranda Cook (Salt Lake, UT), Kelly Yeager (Kennewick, WA), numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Allen Olday and brother Charles Young A special thank you to her niece Daria Chappell and family for all their help over the months prior to Carolyn's passing.
