En Memoria de Nuestra Querida Madre

Celia Aragón Garcés

Con el corazón lleno de tristeza, pero también con profunda gratitud a Dios, despedimos a nuestra amada madre, abuela y bisabuela, Celia Aragón Garcés, quien a sus 87 años de edad partió de este mundo el día 26 de julio de 2026.

Nuestra madre nació el 21 de abril de 1939 en Tecomalco, Morelos, México, hija de J. Guadalupe Aragón Cortés y Ma. Guadalupe Garcés Medina. Fue una mujer de gran fortaleza, fe y amor, quien dedicó su vida a su familia y a vivir conforme a los principios que Dios puso en su corazón.

Compartió su vida junto a su amado esposo, Calet Balderas Arizpe, con quien formó una hermosa familia. Dios los bendijo con 11 hijos, y aunque hoy algunos de sus hijos ya no están con nosotros, su legado continúa a través de Severino, Arturo, Gonzalo, José Luis, Gerardo, Efraín, Isabel, Gamaliel e Idai Balderas. También recordamos con amor a sus hijas que la precedieron en muerte, Leticia y Cristina Balderas.

Nuestra madre fue bendecida con una familia grande y hermosa, incluyendo 41 nietos y 21 bisnietos, quienes siempre llevarán en sus corazones sus consejos, sus enseñanzas y el amor incondicional que siempre nos brindó.

La fe en Dios fue la base de su vida y su mayor fortaleza. Mamá nos enseñó con su ejemplo a poner en práctica las enseñanzas de la Biblia, a amar y ayudar a los demás, a ser hospitalarios y a tratar a cada persona con bondad. Siempre tuvo una palabra amable, una sonrisa sincera y un corazón dispuesto para quien necesitara de ella.

Recordaremos con mucho cariño las cosas que disfrutaba: cuidar sus plantas, criar sus animalitos -sus gallinas, marranos y pajaritos- y, sobre todo, visitar y compartir momentos con su familia. Para ella, el hogar siempre fue un lugar de amor, unión y enseñanza.

Nuestra madre fue una mujer dedicada al hogar, una mujer que con sabiduría, amor y disciplina nos enseñó valores que permanecerán con nosotros toda la vida: el respeto, la responsabilidad, la honradez y el esfuerzo para salir adelante. Nos mostró que la humildad y la sencillez son virtudes que hacen grande a una persona.

Aunque hoy sentimos un profundo vacío por su partida, también sentimos una inmensa gratitud por el regalo de haber tenido una madre como ella. Su amor, sus sacrificios, sus enseñanzas y su ejemplo vivirán para siempre en nuestras familias.

Mamá querida, gracias por cada abrazo, cada consejo, cada oración y cada momento que compartiste con nosotros. Fuiste una gran bendición en nuestras vidas y siempre ocuparás un lugar especial en nuestros corazones.

Te amamos y te extrañaremos siempre. Tu legado continuará viviendo en cada uno de nosotros.

In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Mother

Celia Aragón Garcés

With hearts filled with sorrow, but also with deep gratitude to God, we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Celia Aragón Garcés, who peacefully passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 87.

Our mother was born on April 21, 1939, in Tecomalco, Morelos, Mexico, to J. Guadalupe Aragón Cortés and Ma. Guadalupe Garcés Medina. She was a woman of great strength, faith, and love, who dedicated her life to her family and to living according to the values God placed in her heart.

She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Calet Balderas Arizpe, with whom she built a loving family. God blessed them with 11 children, and although some of her children have gone before her, her legacy continues through Severino, Arturo, Gonzalo, José Luis, Gerardo, Efraín, Isabel, Gamaliel, and Idai Balderas. We also lovingly remember her daughters who preceded her in death, Leticia and Cristina Balderas.

Our mother was blessed with a large and beautiful family, including 41 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her love, wisdom, and teachings in their hearts.

Her faith in God was the foundation of her life and her greatest source of strength. Mom taught us through her example to follow the teachings of the Bible, to love and help others, to welcome people with kindness, and to treat everyone with compassion. She was always ready with a kind word, a sincere smile, and a helping hand.

We will cherish the memories of the things she loved: caring for her plants, raising her animals -her chickens, pigs, and birds- and, most importantly, spending time visiting and sharing moments with her family. To her, home was always a place filled with love, unity, and lessons that would last a lifetime.

Our mother was a devoted homemaker who, with wisdom, love, and discipline, taught us values that will remain with us forever: respect, responsibility, honesty, and perseverance. She showed us that humility and simplicity are some of life's greatest virtues.

Although we feel a deep emptiness from her absence, we are also filled with gratitude for the blessing of having had such a wonderful mother. Her love, sacrifices, teachings, and example will continue to live on through our family for generations to come.

Mom, thank you for every hug, every lesson, every prayer, and every moment you shared with us. Having you in our lives was one of God's greatest blessings, and you will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

We love you and will miss you always. Your legacy will continue to live on through each one of us.
