Clyde Olen Sprau Sr., 68 years old, was a very outgoing and social person; he loved life and made many friends throughout his lifetime. He served a short time in the Marines and went on to work in the mining industry. He married Cynthia Furman in 1978. They welcomed 5 children over their 41 year marriage.

He went on to become a mechanic and then truck driver where he spent most of his career. Clyde made many friends. He always loved teaching his children. He taught them mechanics and how to rebuild their own vehicles. Many of his children's passions are a direct result of his teachings. He taught them to drive long before they were old enough. Clyde loved playing the guitar, and especially loved music, he was always humming or singing a song. Camping and boating were some of he and his children's favorite memories as they were growing up.

He was a favorite uncle and very influential in many of his nieces and nephews' lives. He was also a very influential part of his children's friends as they all looked up to him as a second father and learned so much from Clyde as a great teacher always willing to share his knowledge and skills.

Clyde was very close with his Grandma Perry. She introduced him to the LDS religion where he was proud to serve in the High Priesthood. We are sure grandma Perry was the first one to meet him after his passing.

Clyde was survived by ex-wife Cynthia (Russ),

Son Cj (Dede), son David (Kate), daughter Rose (Don), daughter Debbie (Kendall), son Timmy (Leizle), brother Larry, sister Vivian, sister Judy, brother Terry and Aunt June Dell (95).

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Melva, and brother David and of course Grandma Perry.

Clyde was lucky enough to have 18 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, and 1 more on the way. He loved napping with his grand babies any chance he could.

Clyde had recently retired but couldn't stay out of the truck for long. He was back on the road with his son Timmy when he passed. He loved being on the road and was able to drive a truck for the last day of his life.

Clyde had a huge heart and was always helpful when people needed him.
