Cyndie Horvath "Java "worked at the Finley School District for 32 years. She spent time in each of our three schools. Cyndie made many friends in all of the schools working, but ultimately her love was at the high school. Cyndie wanted everyone at the school and her past students to know she will miss them and not to worry. She will be watching over them always

Cyndie would want you to ask yourself, if you had a question for her, what would the answer be from her, because you probably already know.

Cyndie wanted her students to challenge themselves to be better, in their life and for them to do better within themselves because nobody else will do the work for you. She would tell you today you always have to push yourself. Cyndie loves all her students and wants them to take care, but most importantly she wants you to believe in yourself. The sky's the limit.

Cyndie stayed working at River View because she loved the kids so much and always had faith in them. Cyndie never wanted anyone to talk down to each other. She wanted the best for all the kids at River View.

Cyndie had the most loving and kind heart. If you were ever blessed to have a conversation with her, she probably addressed you as George or Missy. This was just one of the ways she would always tease the kids and make them laugh, but she also tried to teach them life lessons for when they grew up and left high school.

Her mom was Gene Newton. Her father was Floyd Newton her brother Sam and sister Pam husband Joseph all preceded her. She has left her sons Grady and Cory granddaughter Avery and niece Stacy.
