Daphne D
Hull
Dec 27, 1924 — Oct 3, 2026
Daphne's faith was the foundation of her life.
Daphne D. Hull, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, entered the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 3, 2026, at the remarkable age of 101.
Daphne was born on December 27, 1924, in Polson, Montana, to Oscar and Mary Louise Deranleau. One of nine children, she graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1943. On November 28, 1943, she married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Hull. Together they shared 62 wonderful years of marriage until Bob's passing in 2005.
The couple was blessed with three children: Robert (Bobby), James (Jimmy), and Sandra (Sandy). In 1949, they settled in Pasco, Washington, where they built a loving home and raised their family.
In 1961, Daphne began her banking career as a teller with First Interstate Bank, now Wells Fargo. She dedicated twenty years to serving her community before retiring. Daphne and Bob enjoyed traveling throughout the country in their motorhome, visiting family and friends and creating cherished memories along the way.
Her example of grace, generosity, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
A devoted member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church for 76 years, Daphne's faith was the foundation of her life. She possessed a beautiful singing voice and was a member of “Mother's Singers" during the 1950s and 1960s. She also treasured the lifelong friendships she shared with her sister, Ileen, and their close-knit "Sewing Club," whose members gathered monthly to sew, mend, and enjoy each other's company. These gatherings remained among Daphne's most treasured memories.
Daphne found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially working crossword puzzles. She faithfully completed them each week and continued doing so right up until her passing.
She is survived by her son, Jim Hull and family; her daughter and son in-law, Sandy and Dave Romm and family; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob; her son, Bobby; daughter-in-law, Anita Hull; great-grandson, Nicholas Marske; and former son-in-law, Danny Hatfield.
Daphne's faith, compassion, kindness, and unwavering love for family, friends, and pets touched countless lives. Her example of grace, generosity, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Walla Walla Community Hospice and Daphne's Visiting Angels caregivers for their exceptional kindness, compassionate care, and support. Words cannot adequately express our appreciation.

"A life well lived is not measured merely by the years we spend on earth, but by the faith we keep, the love we give, the burdens we help carry, and the lives we bless. As St. Paul declared, 'I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.' - 2 Timothy 4:7"
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.
