Darlene Kay Turner, age 76, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away peacefully at her home on April 30, 2024. Born on January 9, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan, Darlene was the beloved daughter of Edward and Georgia Kumaus.
Darlene's life was marked by a dedication to both beauty and spirituality. As a cosmetologist and shaman, she brought both inner and outer transformation to those she served. Alongside her beloved husband John, Darlene co-owned CEEELS Consulting, where they shared their expertise and passion with others.
A deeply spiritual person, Darlene was actively involved in several organizations, including the Devine Fellowship, Rosicrucian Order, and Lynn Andrews, Michael Harmon Associates. Her commitment to Native American Studies was reflected in her hobbies, which included drumming and collecting turquoise jewelry.
Darlene's memory will be cherished by her loving husband John, her brother Daryl Kumaus, niece Julie Lara, nephew Ame Kumaus, nieces Sarah Wise and Rachel Turner, brother-in-law Tim Turner, step-brother Gary Passwaters, and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Georgeanne.
In celebration of Darlene's remarkable life, a gathering will be held on May 11, 2024, at 2 pm at Penny's home.
