Thurmon Dean Moody II, age 53, passed away at home on January 29, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was a beloved husband and devoted father.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah, and children Jayden Hollan, Myanna, Alissa, Arabella, Sanfania, T. Maddox, and Falina; his parents, T. Dean and Patrice Moody; his parents-in-law, Tim and Judy Dietzen; his siblings Dallan (April), Chris (Missy), Darran (Lori), Dustin (Alanna), Greg (Kelly), Megan (Kevin), and Derek (Shantal); and his sisters-in-law Rachel (Troy), Leah Florence, and Andrea (Jason).

Dean's greatest joy was sharing what he loved with others. He found deep happiness in hunting, traveling, surfing, and spending time outdoors, especially when those experiences were shared with friends and family. He will be remembered for his ability to help others and for the leadership and guidance he provided at work, always encouraging those around him to grow and do their best.

Dean was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His faith sustained him through the last several years of his battle with cancer and will continue to sustain his family as they navigate life moving forward.

The family expresses deep gratitude for the love, prayers, and support they have received. They take comfort in the knowledge that Dean is at peace and in the loving care of their Heavenly Father, and they trust that His eternal plan will continue to guide and bless their family in the days ahead.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Gage Building) 895 W. Gage Blvd, Richland, Washington. Viewing will be held from 9am-11am in the Relief Society room with the funeral service starting at 11:30am, followed by Graveside services at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Richland at 1:30pm
