Donald Michael Nelson, 56, of Kennewick died on Sept. 13, 2014 in Walla Walla County. He was born Nov. 20, 1957 to parents Pat and Lucille (Hill) Nelson in Walla Walla, WA. On June 24, 1994 he married Kay Olsen. He has lived in the Tri-Cities for 13 years. Donald attended Eastern Washington University. He worked as a buyer for ProBuild in Kennewick. Donald enjoyed boating, water skiing, skiing, and motorcycles. He was a musician and a SeaHawks fan. Donald belonged to Christ Lutheran Church. Surviving Donald are his wife, Kay; sons Christopher, Patrick, Ben, Aaron; granddaughters Addisyn, Shuree, Alexiss, Ellianna; grandsons Ezekiel, Jacob; mother, Lucille Nelson; sister Linda Mathews; nephew Justin, Adam; brother John. He was preceded in death by his father Pat Nelson, and brother Tom Nelson. A memorial will be held on Saturday, September 20 at 1:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Center, 9353 W.
