This loving man who held many titles, Don, Dad, Papa, Mr. Don, loyal friend and number one chef passed away in Pasco, at the age of 62.
He was born on September 25, 1946, in Pasco, Washington to Norma and Verna Steffenson. Don served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. He taught us all the true meaning of cooking, yard sales, and love. His hobbies included fishing, camping, old Western movies, and napping. He had a big heart and was willing to help anyone in anyway he could. He was a wonderful friend that loved to laugh and joke. He loved us all in his own unique way and was a collector of fine treasures. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by 6 sons, 4 daughters, 28 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and niece and nephew. He is preceded by his sister Marilyn, and brother Joe.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 1PM at the Kennewick VFW Hall, 28 E 10th , with a reception to follow. Inurnment will take place at City View Cemetery, Pasco at a later date.
