Donn Teal Chriesman, 75, passed away surrounded by family on April 30, 2023. He was born on July 20, 1947 to Chris and Lillian Chriesman in Alpine, TX. When he was nine years old, his family moved to Eltopia, WA, and he spent most of his life in the Tri-Cities area. On December 27, 1975, Donn married Susan Hulswit. They were married for 43 years, separated only by her passing in May 2019.

Donn had a big heart, and was a father figure and friend to young and old. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed camping, skiing, sport shooting and woodworking. He was an incredible welder, and only recently retired from Hiline Engineering and Fabrication on his 75th birthday.

As much as he enjoyed these hobbies, his true passion was missionary work. Donn gave his heart to the Lord as a young man and enjoyed sharing his testimony. He supported the Gospel for many years, helping send missionaries around the world.

Donn is survived by his son Shane Steven (Jerrie) Chriesman, daughters Kezia (Justin) Brown, Ruth Chriesman, Leigha (John) Wellman, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter Beth Karin, his wife Susan, his father and mother, sister Cindy, and brother Terry.

A celebration of Donn's life will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 11, at Evening Light Tabernacle in Finley, WA.
