Doree Joann McKellips, a resident of Benton City, Washington, passed away on June 28, 2024. Born on September 20, 1962, in Pasco, Washington, Doree was the cherished daughter of Murray Madeen and Doris Reid Madeen.

On August 9, 1983, Doree married the love of her life, Michael McKellips, who preceded her in death. Together, they shared many beautiful years of marriage. Doree was a dedicated homemaker, whose warmth and love were felt by all who knew her.

For the past six years, Doree made her home in the Tri-Cities area, where she enjoyed a rich and fulfilling life. She found great joy in baking, spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, painting, and collecting Pokémon. Her affection for cats was well-known, and she had a special place in her heart for them.

Doree is survived by her daughter, Cody Fee, and son-in-law, William Fee. She was a proud grandmother to Michael Fee and Emmi Fee, who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael McKellips; her father, Murray Madeen; her mother, Doris Madeen; and her brother, Murray (Chip) Madeen II.
