Efren Mu�iz Diaz entered into eternal rest at the age of 77 on the evening of August 23, 2016 in Pasco, WA. Efren is predeceased by his parents: Jose Muniz Jimenez and Virginia Diaz Sandoval, siblings: Eloisa, Concepcion, Jose, Maria, Jesus, Juan, Vicente and Salvador.
It was only 6 months ago that his brother Salvador Muniz Diaz left this earth to be by our Lord's side. Efren, devastated by the loss of his best friend, found eternal rest several months later. Efren is lovingly remembered and survived by his sister, Hermelinda and by his niece Silvia Olivera,. He will also be terribly missed by his loving grandnieces and grandnephews as they considered him their second father: Yolanda, Blas, Jaime, Tatiana and Cristian, also by his great grandnieces, Naomi, Jada, Jameelah, Roslyn, Somaya, Aaliyah and Silvia and by the many countless family members that loved him.
Efren came to live with his niece Silvia Olivera, her husband, Blas Olivera and their children, Yolanda, Blas, Jaime, Tatiana and Cristian 26 years ago. He was immediately made a part of their family. He became a part of the many memories the Olivera Muniz family shared and was an extremely important part of their family. The countless memories created will be imbedded in the lives of those who considered him their second father, uncle, grandpa and friend. Efren's contagious laughter and smile brightened everyone around him with his presence. He was a giving, self-less man who found joy and happiness in taking care of others.
Efren entered the United States in the early 70s and began working in the orchards until his retirement. Efren loved to read and would often be found reading his cowboy novels. He was a charismatic jokester by nature who loved to make those around him laugh and smile. The chemistry between his older brother, Salvador and him was undoubtedly one of the best as they would love to play pranks on each other. Efren loved having stimulating conversations where he would talk about foreign world affairs and politics for hours and would always share advise for others as he was a very wise and loving man.
The relatives and friends of Efren Muniz Diaz are invited to attend the viewing at Hillcrest Bruce Lee Memorial Center, 2804 W Lewis Street, Pasco, WA on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. The Vigil and Eulogy will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Rosary.
The Funeral Service Mass of the former will be held at St. Patrick's Church in Pasco on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at City View Cemetery, 1300 N Oregon Avenue, Pasco, WA. A wake will take place after the burial at the gymnasium at St. Patrick's Parrish.
Efr�n Mu�iz D�az entro a su descanso eterno a los 77 a�os de edad, la noche del 23 de agosto del 2016 en Pasco, WA. Muri� antes que Efr�n sus padres, Jos� Mu�iz Jim�nez y Virginia D�az Sandoval, hermanos: Elo�sa, Concepci�n, Jos�, Mar�a, Jes�s, Juan, Vicente y Salvador.
Fue solo hace 6 meses que su hermano Salvador Mu�iz D�az dejo este mundo para estar al lado de nuestro Se�or. Efr�n, triste por la partida de su mejor amigo, encontr� el descanso eterno varios meses despu�s. Efr�n ser� recordado amorosamente y sobrevivido por su hermana, Hermelinda y por su sobrina Silvia Olivera. Tambi�n ser� terriblemente extra�ado por sus sobrinos nietos y sus sobrinas nietas ya que los consideraban un segundo padre: Yolanda, Blas, Jaime, Tatiana y Cristian, y tambi�n por sus sobrinas bisnietas: Naomi, Jada, Jameelah, Roslyn, Somaya, Aaliyah y Silvia y por los sin n�mero miembros de la familia que lo amaban.
Efr�n llego a vivir con su sobrina, Silvia Olivera, su esposo, Blas Olivera y sus hijos, Yolanda, Blas, Jaime, Tatiana y Cristian hace 26 a�os atr�s. Fue inmediatamente aceptado como parte de su familia. Se convirti� parte de las tantas memorias que comparti� con la Familia Olivera Mu�iz y fue una parte extremadamente importante en su familia. Los innumerables recuerdos creados ser�n incrustados en las vidas de los que lo consideran su segundo padre, t�o, abuelo y amigo. La risa y sonrisa contagiosa de Efr�n iluminaron todos a su alrededor con su presencia. Era un hombre que altruista que encontraba alegr�a y felicidad en el cuidado de los dem�s.
Efr�n entro a Estados Unidos a principio de los a�os 70s y empez� a trabajar en el campo hasta que se jubil�. Efr�n le encantaba leer y con frecuencia lo encontr�bamos leyendo sus novelas de cowboy. Era un bromista carism�tico por naturaleza y le encantaba hacer re�r y sonre�r a todos aquellos que lo rodeaban. La qu�mica entre su hermano Salvador y el, era sin duda una de las mejores ya que les encantaba jugarse bromas entre ellos. Efr�n le encantaba tener conversaciones muy estimulantes donde por horas discut�a la pol�tica y noticias que afectaban alrededor del mundo y siempre compart�a consejos con los dem�s ya que era muy sabio y muy amoroso.
Los familiares y amistades de Efr�n Mu�iz D�az esta cordialmente invitados atender el funeral en el HillCrest Bruce Lee Memorial Center, 2804 W Lewis Street, Pasco, WA el lunes, 29 de agosto de 2016 de las 3 p.m. a 8 p.m. La Vigilia y Elogio se llevaran a cabo a las 6:30 p.m. y en seguida empezara el Rosario.
La Misa Servicial se llevara a cabo en la iglesia San Patricio en Pasco el martes, 30 de agosto del 2016 a las 9 a.m. El sepulcro seguir� despu�s en el Cementerio City View, 1300 N Oregon Avenue, Pasco, WA. La recepci�n para celebrar la vida de Efr�n se llevara a cabo inmediatamente despu�s del sepulcro.
