Elaine Irene Biss, 78, of Richland, WA passed away at her home on July 2, 2018. She was born in Cloquet, MN to Fred and Lillian Hanhela on August 28, 1939. She was bookkeeper and Notary Public and lived in the Tri-City, WA area 40 plus years. She was a past Madam President of Eagles Auxiliary #2485 Kennewick and was active in the American Legion, Ladies of the Moose and Veterans of Foreign Wars. She liked to travel, work on family history, travel and especially having a great time with friends and family. She is survived by her son, Richard Arthur Nicely (Dayton,WA); grandchildren Christine (WA), Mishael Nicely (CA) and Matthew Nicely of Orofino, ID; sister Jane Maki of Minnesota. She was preceded in by her parents; sons, Michael, Wayne and Don. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to Eagles Lodge #2485 ~ Ladies Auxiliary. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
