Eldon Frank Heim, age 91, died at home on November 13, 2007. Eldon was born May 1, 1916 in Dubuque, Iowa to parents Joseph P. and Mary Heck Heim. He served as a Master Sergeant in the Air Force from 1941 ? 1944. Eldon married Gloria L Vandenberg on January 5, 1942. Eldon retired from United Nuclear where he worked as a Nuclear Reactor Operator. Eldon enjoyed raising Arabian Horses and working outside in his pasture in West Richland. He loved family gatherings and visiting with friends and neighbors. Eldon is survived by his daughters, Andrea Rash and Jan Don Harlow; grandchildren, Stephen Becky Overdahl, ?Dear Darling? Erika Mark Repko, Gregory Leslie Harlow, ?Honey Girl? Angela Carlo Trenti. Great-grandchildren, Anna Harlow, Hayley Overdahl, Tristan Repko, Sarah Harlow, Gunnar Overdahl, Gianni Trenti. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria. Eldon leaves many wonderful memories for all of his family. He was always supportive to family members and friends. He was known for his great sense of humor and silly songs. He will be forever in our hearts. Private family services were held.
