Elvia G Loera, 79 of Pasco WA passed away on January 28th, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born June 9th, 1944, in Los Ramones Nuevo Leon Mexico to Ines Lopez Garza and Eusebia Suarez Garza. At the age of 19 she moved to Harrah, Washington to be with her sister and there she met the love of her life, Pedro A. Loera. The two married in 1965 and began their family together. Pedro and Elvia moved to Moses Lake, Washington where they began their church building ministry beginning with El Sendero Spanish Assemblies of God. Later in Elvia's life, the two would travel to Mexico to plant churches and help provide clothing and household necessities to the children and families in need. Elvia was a faithful member of Templo Betania, Spanish Assemblies of God in Pasco, Washington. She was a Missonette Sponsor, Sunday School Teacher, and the President of the Women's Ministries for many years. She also served for 25 years as the leader of the Elders "Ebenezer" Ministries for the South-Central Washington Section. She led with excellence, served the Lord with all her heart, and promoted her ministry with passion that characterized her. When Elvia wasn't working in the church or spending time with her sister, friends, or family, she would spend time in her garden. She is survived by her siblings Olivia Gomez and Blas Garza; her children, Becky (Bob) McKinney, Rachel (Hector) Garza, Elias (Anny) Loera, Elizabeth G. Loera, Eliseo Loera (Denise Esquivel Reyes) and Pedro Jr. (Mari) Loera. She was a beloved grandmother to Hector Jr., Ashley, Kenneth, Jasmine, Gabriela, Adriana, Michaela, Daniel, Michael, Zachary, Annalisa, Angelique, Isaiah, Cristina "Mya", Israel, Leah, Anthony, Kayla, Samantha, Eliseo Jr, and Ezekiel; and Great grandmother to Oliver, Callie, August, Kooper, Hector III and Grayson. She is proceeded in death by her husband Pedro A. Loera, grandson Isaac Loera, her parents Ines Lopez Garza and Eusebia Suarez Garza, brothers, Marcelino, Santiago, Ramiro, Simon and Apolinar Garza.
