G. Christine Eide passed away on August 22, 2026, in Pasco Washington. Gail was born August 27, 1954, in Spokane, Washington to Richard and Lois Bell., joining an older sister, April. She graduated from East Valley High School in 1972. She graduated from WSU on June 5, 1976, summa cum laude, with a bachelor's degree in communications and Speech.

As an adult, Gail preferred to be called Chris or Christine. On July 14, 1976, Christine married Steve Einan and moved to his hometown of Richland, Washington. Their son, Russell, was born on 2/1/1984. Eventually, Chris and Steve parted, and she met Donald Eide though Al-Anon in 1988. Christine married Donald Eide on October 12, 1989, creating a blended family with Don's children from his previous marriage.

Chris was ahead of the curve as far as being tech-savvy and had a number of jobs where her knowledge of computers was invaluable. She has shared her knowledge and experience at numerous endeavors: including Max Benitz Jr.'s political campaign, creation of the Broadmoor Park Outlet mall, as an administrator to the Hanford Area Economic Fund Committee (HAEFIC) supporting local small businesses, along with being owner/operator of a small business. Chris and Don took full advantage of living near the Columbia River. They owned speedboats, a cabin cruiser and, eventually, a large houseboat called "The American Dream". The houseboat was furnished in red, white and blue, and was headquarters for their entertaining or as a weekend getaway. They also participated in events supporting the local Gold Wing Motorcycle Club, along with the Tri-Cities Yacht Club at Clover Island.

Chris contracted rheumatoid arthritis, which severely limited her abilities and activities. Other health issues followed, which kept her mostly close to home. Her beloved husband Don passed away in January of 2023, and Chris moved to an assisted living facility following his passing.

She is survived by her son Russell Einan, his wife Nicole Einan and their daughter, Emily Einan; her sister April Bullock; and stepchildren, DJ Eide, Elizabeth Whiteman, Janna Toth, and Banyan Eide, as well as numerous grandchildren.
