George Edward Jenkins, age 103, passed away in Walla Walla, Washington, on September 25, 2023. George always worked hard. His many jobs usually involved operating machinery. What he loved to do most was fly for the US Army Air Corps, then US Army Air Force, and finally the US Air Force. His years of service spanned from WWII through the Korean War, Cold War, and South East Asia. He was good at what he did and he liked doing it.

George and his wife, Dorothy, had five children: Gayle Jenkins who died shortly after birth, Merri (Ray) Neiwert,

Lyndell (Mark) Schwartz, Mark (Bitsy) Jenkins, and Dave (Patty) Jenkins.

You learn a lot, experience a lot, and share a lot in 103 years.

George Jenkins accomplished a lot of good.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation, 9353 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick, WA. Viewing is from 9:00am to 11:45am with the funeral service starting at 12:00 Noon. Followed by graveside services at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Richland, Washington.
