Gladys Zayas, age 59, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away on November 9, 2023. She was born on March 26, 1964, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to her mom Carmen Valentin.

Gladys married Jose Zayas in 1983 and worked as a Health Care Coordinator for the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic.

Gladys' all time favorite thing was cooking especially when it was during the Holidays or anytime, she had her family together. She also loved dancing and her spice didn't end in just her food. She also enjoyed beading, Cricut and making shirts.

Gladys is survived by her husband of 40 years Jose Zayas, Jr. Daughters Jessica and Jazmin Zayas and son Joey O. Zayas; granddaughters Angelina, Trynity, Josephine, Gladys, Jayleen, Jelissa and Alayna; grandson Valentin; brothers Manny, Jose and Angel; sister Maritza. She was preceded in death by her mother Carmen Valentin and Brother Abraham Valantin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, ~ 3pm to 7pm at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation 9353 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick, Washington.
