Henry Keith Beswick, 93, passed away February 24, 2023 in Kennewick, WA surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 24, 1929 in East London, Cape Province, South Africa.

Keith was born and raised in South Africa, the second of five children. When his mother and younger sister decided to move to America in 1951, he accompanied them, settling first in Utah, then in California. In 1953, Keith was drafted into the US Army during the Korean War, where he served for two years. At the completion of his duty, he was granted United States citizenship. In 1955, he was called to serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was assigned to the Netherlands Mission where he learned to speak Dutch and testified of Jesus Christ.

Upon returning from his church mission, Keith and Joyce Ione Graham were married in the Los Angeles LDS temple on November 28, 1959. Their family welcomed 3 children and he worked hard to support them all. He worked in various jobs including as a courier, salesman, and servicing in-flight movie systems for various airlines. Keith was dedicated in his church callings where he served as a ward clerk, temple worker, stake missionary, Elder's quorum president and Stake Sunday School president. He had an eye for detail and was a valuable asset in all his work.

Keith was a storyteller and would entertain his family with stories of his life in Africa, his mission, and his military service. He enjoyed breaking into Dutch while talking, waiting to see people's reactions. He memorized poems and Psalms as a young boy and could still recite them into his later years. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren and would often hold them on his knees and sing his special songs to them.

Keith is survived by his sons Eric (Elaine) Beswick of Kennewick, Mark (Melissa) Beswick of Caldwell, Idaho, and daughter Julie (Rick) Ross of Kennewick; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his youngest sister, Anne Willden, of Roy, Utah. His beloved wife, Joyce, passed from this life August 25, 2022; they are now together forever in heaven.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 10376 Ridgeline Dr., Kennewick, WA. with a Viewing from 10:00 am to 10:45am and Funeral service starting at 11:00 am. Followed by Graveside service at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Kennewick, WA.
