Henry L. Leigland passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 99.  He was born on December 3, 1925 in Great Falls, Montana.  He enlisted in the Navy in December 1942 and was commissioned to the USS Steamer Bay where he received a World War Victory Medal, American Area Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign Medal (6 stars) and Philippine Medal (Silver) star.

He is survived by his wife Alta (Lee), daughters, Terran, Lucinda, and Nikkey, and his special daughter, Corky, and grandchildren, Dax, Mikael, Chaney, Dwight, Sheena, Jennifer, and 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Henry was a carpenter by trade.  He and Dick Newman enjoyed working with the Boy Scouts.

Services for Henry will be held on Saturday March 29, 2025 at Einan's at Hillcrest, Kennewick, Washington.
