Inez "Faye" Thomason of Kennewick, WA was a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She passed away on September 10th, 2023, at the age of 86 after a long battle with heart disease.

Faye was born on June 27th, 1937, to Lloyd E. & Thelma "Joan" Tewalt in Dayton, WA. After graduating from Dayton High School, Faye married Frank H. Fanciullo. From this union, they raised 4 children together. Faye spent time during this era being involved as a Camp Fire Leader, PTA President, Discovery Toys ambassador and served in many other volunteer activities. Faye worked at Redfield Chiropractic Center as a receptionist for over 21 years, greeting patients with a friendly smile. She finished her career working as an administrative assistant at Hanford – Westinghouse for 13 years before retiring in 2002. She was proud to say she rode the vanpool every day to work.

In 1988, Faye was remarried to Frank W. Thomason. Together, they traveled to all 50 states as a part of the Tri-Cities Volksmarching Club. Faye was very active in the Rio Grande Villas Condo Association, served as Guardian Ad-Litem for Benton County courts, and volunteered her time at a local women and children's shelter. Her true passion was being a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society (Bevy of Beauty's) for over 14 years. Not only did she plan and attend excursions and outings with her group, but she truly celebrated life and enjoyed time with good friends.

Grandma Faye was a keeper of all things. Over the years, she collected Mickey Mouse memorabilia, Hallmark ornaments and everything Christmas. She took great pride in her holiday decorating and at one point, had up to 12 Christmas trees set up! Of course, it wouldn't be the holidays without her Tupperware full of "Grandma Cookies" and Scotcheroos. Aside of baking, Faye thrived on planning road trips, parties, cheering for her favorite sports teams (Seattle Seahawks & Seattle Mariners), and vacationing in her favorite location, Hawaii. As life slowed down a bit, she never missed an episode of, "Fixer Upper", enjoyed reading romance novels, playing Bunko, and dominating at Bingo. But her most favorite pastime was spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Thomason; father, Lloyd E. Tewalt; mother, Thelma "Joan" Tewalt; daughter, Jacqueline F. Downing; & sister, Myrna L. Tewalt. She is survived by her daughter, Jolene (Lynn) Lundrigan of Pasco, WA.; daughter, Janna Fanciullo of Longview, WA.; son, Jay (Gayla) Fanciullo of Prosser, WA., and her many adored grandchildren (8) and great-grandchildren (18). From her notorious red hair and twinkly blue eyes to her kind heart, Grandma Faye will be deeply missed. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Tender Mercies Adult Family Home, and the Chaplaincy Hospice for their compassionate care of our mom and grandmother.

A Celebration of Life for Faye will be held at Hillcrest Funerals in Kennewick, WA. on Thursday, September 21st at 10:00 AM. Reception to follow at CG's Public House located next door. A family graveside burial will be held at the Dayton Cemetery on September 21st at 2:00 PM.
