James Elexander (Bud) Williams, 88, of Pasco, WA passed away on September 3, 2013. Bud was born in Chelsea, OK on March 2, 1925. Bud married Theora Hobbs on May 11,1946 in Goodland, Kansas; they were married 74 years. In 1953 he moved his family from the Midwest to Pasco, WA. He was ambitious and hard working and in true pioneering spirit he foresaw opportunity in the Pacific Northwest. Bud worked as an automobile mechanic and for most of his life owned his own automobile repair businesses. He enjoyed restoring cars and belonged to the Ye Olde Car Club. The cars are now lovingly treasured and enjoyed by family members. He enjoyed many road trips with family and friends. Family stories about these trips provide many great memories, joy and laughter. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. For him when all the family was together was the best time. Bud is survived by his wife Theora, daughter Jo (Scott) LeVan, granddaughters Erin LeVan (William), Shanda Miller (Kent), great-grandson Liam James (Bud) LeVan, sisters; Annetta Swartz, Lee Smith, brothers; Lowell Williams, John Williams (Ileen), numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Bud is preceded in death by parents: James and Cecilia Williams, sisters Marge Williamson and Norma Peterson and brother Maurice Williams who died at birth. In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial donations to Kadlec Neurological Resource Center, 560 Gage Blvd, Suite 106, Richland, WA 99352, www.kadlec.org/knrc‎ or to a charity of your choosing.
