Jenny Lynn Lloyd, 30, of Benton City passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. She died peacefully in her sleep. She was born in Richland, WA on January 13, 1984 to Joe and Janice Lloyd. She was the third of six children and the only daughter. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was the light of her family's life. Jenny was a joy to all who knew her. Her smile and laugh were infectious and she really knew how to have fun. Her flare for bright, beautiful things was made evident in her colorful outfits and shoes. She always lit up the room when she walked in. She enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. Her various groups of friends all relied on Jenny to keep connections alive. Jenny had a love and talent for music and enjoyed attending concerts and musicals. She played the flute, saxophone, piano, violin and harp and had a lovely singing voice. She loved to cook and her food was loved by friends and family alike. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a full-time mission in Houston, Texas. She also served as a Relief Society president, ward missionary, and pianist. Jenny worked as an administrative assistant for Bechtel Corporation at the Hanford Vitrification Plant. Previously she worked at the Bechtel Corporate Headquarters in Reston, VA doing contract acquisitions. Jenny is survived by her parents Joe and Janice Lloyd of Benton City, WA and her five brothers Levi (Rebecca) Lloyd of Livermore, CA, Benjamin (Melinda) Lloyd of Hillsboro, OR, Joshua (Krista) Lloyd of Lynnwood, WA, James Lloyd of Provo, UT and Adam Lloyd of Provo, UT and nine nieces and nephews: Isaac, Eliza, Jason, Noah, Samantha, Kaitlin, Claire, Henry, and Layla. Services will take place at 3:00 PM on August 19th at the LDS Church at 1101 Fay Ave., Benton City, WA. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Benton City.
