JESSICA ASHBY 5/8/1979-2/1/2008 Jessica Kallie Ashby was born on May 8, 1979 in Pendleton Oregon to Roger and Charlene Mishler. She grew up in Meacham, Oregon and also in Klawock, Alaska. Jessie with her curly permed hair and overalls was always into mischief. As a teenager she was a tomboy riding three wheelers with the neighborhood boys all over the mountain. When Jessie was 16 she met her future husband Charles. Together they had five children. Jessie was employed for a couple of years at the Pendleton Flour Mill where she performed strenuous work along side of grown men and was able to keep up with them. She took pride in her work and was reliable. Most of her adulthood however was spent being able to enjoy and raise her children at home. Jessie loved and cherished the time spent with her family. She was an adventure seeker who loved the outdoors. Camping, four wheeling, sledding and riding snowmobiles were among some of her favorite outdoor activities. These activities were always done with reckless abandon. She was a big kid at heart and seemed to attract kids of all ages. She was always in the middle of the fun with the kids and the kids loved her. Jessie also was very fond of the mountains and the beach where she would retreat to whenever possible. Receiving roses and a good homemade meal made her smile. Spiders scared her, and rude people made her mad. She lived life in the moment and took whatever life handed her with courage and strength. Jessica is survived by and held close to heart by many family and friends including her husband Charles and children Gabe, Courtney, Keanu, Haylee, and Torin. Her brother Jon, sister Jennifer, Grandmothers Charlotte, Cathy and Tonya, Grandfathers Tom and John and several nieces and nephews including Natalie, Gabbie, Sierra, Cole, Tristan, Chyenne, Itallia, Sage and Shae. She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father Charlene and Roger Mishler and grandfather Jack Roberts.
