Joel Greene, 24, of Seattle passed away in his home on February 23, 2008. Joel was born on August 2, 1983 in Moscow, Idaho to Richard P. Greene and Joy L. Davis. Joel was a Loan Officer for Cobalt Mortage and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Petersburg, Alaska and he received his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Idaho. Joel had a passion for writing that shined through his poetry and love of music. Joel had the honor of having his poems published. He also attended the Burning Man Celebrations in Nevada and was a volunteer for the 826 Seattle Writing Project. Joel is survived by his parents and by his sister Jessica Greene. Joel was preceded in death by his Grandparents Bill and Helen Greene and Wayne and Phebe Davis. In honor of Joel donations may be made to the 826 Seattle Writing Project P.O.
