In 1946, they relocated to Pasco, Washington, where they raised their family. In the 1950's Jack served as president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. He worked several years in the auto sales industry before joining the Boise Cascade Corporation in 1960. There he remained until his retirement as a purchasing agent.
