John P. Harris, Jr., aged 94, of Rochester, Washington, formerly of Pasco, passed away on May 2, 2024. John, known by many as Paul, was born December 1, 1929, in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Paul is survived by his children John P. Harris, III, Jeffrey Harris, and Rebekah Harris, and his grandchildren Jeannette Gallop, Lionel Clark, and Jocelyn Harris. Paul was predeceased by his wife, Mima Harris, and daughter, Ramona Cashman.

Paul worked in several different industries, but his passion was for dairy farming. He was an avid fisherman all his life, and after retirement he could often be found on the banks of the Columbia or Snake River, fishing for steelhead. He loved being outdoors and would tinker in his yard for hours. His hard work was rewarded by the City of Pasco regularly awarding him Yard of the Month.
