John Walter Schoenberg of Kennewick passed away at the age of 85 years on November 3, 2017. He was born on May 28, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ to Hans Theodor & Martha Koening Schoenberg. John was a member of the Airforce. He married Shirley Hansen on September 14, 1953. He worked as a Drivetrain Specialist for 20 years at Six States Distributors before he retired. John's favorite hobbies included boats, fishing and camping. He is survived by his son Mark (Deborah) Schoenberg, daughters Larinda Lothrop (William), Barbara Miller (Kelly), Donna Puckett (Ronnie), 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 56 years, Shirley. A Celebration of Life will be held in his memory May 27, 2017 (time to be determined) in Finley, WA.
