Juanita M. Cox, age 73 passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2012 in Richland. Juanita was born on May 8, 1939 in Cameron, MO but spent most of her life in the Tri-Cities after leaving the US Army in 1963 shortly before the birth of her daughter, Pam. Mom was a US Postal Service letter carrier working out of Pasco for almost 30 years and was just getting ready to retire when she succumbed to colon cancer. Mom loved her route in downtown Kennewick and all of the wonderful businesses and households she delivered to – she considered them all part of her extended family. Mom loved to read, do crossword puzzles and sew but she particularly loved to spend time with her three "grand kitties" that she doted on and spoiled. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Daly of Richland, WA; sisters Marilyn Gates of Liberty, MO and Coralie Pulliam of Cameron, MO; brothers Jim and Fred Charlene of Stevensville, MT; Bill of Stewartsville, MO; Paul of Kidder, MO; Ross Bonnie of Missoula, MT; Gordon of Morrisville, MO; and Dennis Pulliam of Cameron, MO, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mom was preceded in death by her mother, Recka Pulliam and son-in-law Kevin Daly. We are deeply grateful and thankful for the care Mom received from all of the nurses, and Drs. Ness, Pillai, and Glenn at KGH; Richland Rehabilitation Center; and Hospice at the Chaplaincy. You made her life better all the way to the end.
