Judith Ann Gutzman 86, of Kennewick, WA was surrounded by loved ones when she went home to her Heavenly Father on October 8, 2024. She was born on June 2,1938 in Oakland California to Robert and Ruth (Robinson) Lippert. She graduated from Corvallis High School in 1956. She married her eternal companion Arthur J. Gutzman on May 12, 1962. Judith and Arthur were sealed for all time and eternity on December 17,1977 in the Provo Utah Temple. They raised 4 wonderful children together. In 1965 they moved to Idyllwild, CA where they owned The Rustic Theatre. In 1978, they moved to Kennewick, WA where this became her home until she passed. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she was a loving visiting teacher, church librarian, and she served with her husband for 12 years as a primary teacher to 4- to 5-year-olds. With her husband they served a mission as Employment Representatives for 18 months and they worked in the Columbia River Temple until she was released. She was a lifetime member of the 3 Rivers Corvette Club and The Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation. She had a love for movies, cruising, doing jigsaw puzzles, being involved in the local corvette club, cooking her famous Christmas Lasagna and moose chili, and being with her family. Growing up in Hollywood California movies where her life. She had met many movie stars and worked in the film industry as a movie script typer. Growing up her dad was a B-list movie producer. So, she met many famous movie stars. She even went to grade school with Liza Minnelli. Her love of movies extended to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was known to most around her as Judy, Grammy or Grandma Judy. Judith and Arthur were married for 59 years. She survived by her children, Dr. David (Sue Ann) Gutzman, Ronald (Sabrina) Gutzman, Teresa Muscines, and Arthur (Ann) Gutzman, Jr. She had nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sibling, and 2 grandchildren. A public viewing will be held at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation, 9353 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick, on Friday October 11, 2024, from 5pm – 8pm. On Saturday October 12th at 9am a gravesite service will be held. Afterwards, A Celebration of Life will be held on at 11am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 8120 W. 4th Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336. In Lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to The 3 Rivers Corvette Club to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation in care of 1610 Heidi Pl., Richland, WA 99352.
